I decided to “improve” them because old ones were quite unreadable and not clear.

So i decided to make it very simple and minimalistic. With one click to upload fast any kind of file.
I personally use uploadffs alot.
Ignore the progress bar bit its just preview on how it can look.

I also made some new designs, but in some other post about them
Remember i dont publish work i do for company i work for, because i decided so.
So the only stuff you’ll see on portfolio is going to be freelance work or pure love work.

So now lets move to the cool stuff i found.

Design for portfolio of Jorijn Schrijvershof. Made an interesting and for me new concept - from upper sky to the ground. Used great fonts: Fertigo Pro, Aldo PC and Sansation. Also box design is almost the same as on Ticoma because he liked that design. Working in all browsers just fine.

Last month: Lefranc, Storage Movers, Ventaja

That’s not my design, i just coded them to XHTML/CSS and made them work in all browsers and ready for cms integration. I didn’t put those on portfolio page.

Also some plans changed. Already thinking of buying some better PC parts then the one i wrote on New PC post. Like better MB with ddr3 support, also i7 cpu, but we’ll see next month ;P

Also i’ll have to make one design before Christmas. It’s for haboniem.nl. It’s a young jewish organisation. Colors are blue/white (Israel flag). Full site will be done after Christmas.

So it all started 2 weeks ago, when i created first previews of new design, so yeah work time on new website stretched way too much.

But let’s say something about design. I decided to use same main color from it’s previous design. And basic concept, just i made it more customers friendly which are mostly gamers. The design itself it’s not usual for hosting company but as i said in sentence before ;P

Anyway, it wouldn’t take 2 weeks, we just had no time to make it earlier, basicly everything would be done in less then 5 days. Including CMS integrating which takes most of time. But oh well. Logo is different because obviously old one wouldn’t fit. Also made design for livesuport, control panel, email template, banners and icons.
With new design there are some improvements. Now you can deposit money directly from Paypal, Moneybookers, Alertpay, iDEAL and Wallie and then pay.

Also design was made in Fireworks, then coded XHTML/CSS in Notepad++.

Website is working in: FF2, FF3, Opera9, Safari3, Chrome, IE7, IE6

You see, i always get bored some time of my design, i just felt like the current portfolio doesn’t look too good. And i knew i need to make some kind of concept that goes great with Content slider.

Then i started with design in Fireworks. First placed background textures. They are free, found them on SmashingMagazine.

Then i said what the hell to IE6 and made some nice opacity png images, oh damn who cares. And for projects too. Tho png is fucked in Chrome, i hope they’ll fix that untill release :>

Site is tested for FF3, IE7 and Safari 3. It works all fine.

So back to design..i come up with idea to make one color stripe per page, that describes page unique.

Bye bye logo.

Yeah totally got rid of old logo even in earlier portfolio modification already, and it wouldn’t fit anyway.

This nice sliding content is made with Mootools, the link is up. Which is just awesome. I modified it alot, as you can see. Also made myself a background charger. Later i’ll make a tutorial/example of Background changer.

Well what else to say? If you found some error/bug, let me know in comments, i’ll try to fix it as soon as possible.

It’s version 3.0 now. Got rid of logo though, playd abit with smudge tool, glowing and motion blur in Fireworks.
